چکیده مقاله:

Discursive engagement in organizations involves complex micro-processes of talk and silence. Through talk, organizational members develop understandings of organizational policies and procedures, construct role identities, both organizational and personal, and generally learn the rules of the game. Through silence, organizational members suppress concerns about difficult or troubling personal as well as organizational issues. The purpose of this research is an overview of the theoretical foundations of organizational silence.
