Currently, a variety of electronic cash systems have been design and implemented in all around theworld. Electronic wallets that existed in these systems need some common special features andfunctions to act accurately. However, many of these e-wallets have not adhered to some features andkey points that define a comprehensive and complete electronic cash definition. Failure in consideringthis important case can redound to disorganization in real performance that expected to be handled. Inaddition, this challenge would cause to another problem. E electronic wallet technology is not accepted in public opinions yet. If the standards and detailed technical instructions for this area be considered, the possibility of a successful electronic cash system would be considerably higher. In this article, we want to review the general characteristics and technical features of e-wallet that should pay attention in any particular system designed as an e-wallet. Then we will examine these properties and attributes with a case study. First we analyze this Experiment for some popular system having a successful e-wallet in their systems. Then we deploy a similar analysis about Iranian systems from view point of having these characteristics. Finally, we offer some solutions for improving in design and developing e-wallet in electronic cash in Iran and other similar developing countries by presenting an analytical model.
