Role of educational leadership in teachers’ motivation and collaboration

Educational leadership plays a major role in teachers’ motivation. The purpose of this studywas to investigate the role of educational settings’ leadership in teachers’ motivation andcollaboration. A total of 30 teachers were selected from randomly selected educational institutesin the city of Yazd in Iran. The results indicated that there was a statistically significantrelationship between educational leadership and teachers’ motivation. There was also acorrelation between educational leadership and teachers’ motivation. Most of the Teachersbelieved that educational leadership works as one of the optimum setting providers forcollaboration among teachers which makes the teachers able to learn and share more knowledgefrom each other while they gather together.
