چکیده مقاله:

Humans have always been dependent to wtheir languages. In fact, language plays an important role in the relationships between different countries. Hence, many attempts have been made through history in order to investigate the methods and approaches that can facilitate language learning (Brown, 2007). Research has revealed that language learning is a phenomenon which is influenced by different factors (Stewart & Perry, 2005). These factors range from teaching or testing methods to psychological and personal characteristics of the language learner (Brown, 2007). As Pugach, Johnson, and Lilly (1995) have suggested, improving teaching for all students is the foundation for the decision to team teach (p. 179). Actually, in team teaching two or more teachers try to work together so that they can enhance the learning of students. On the importance of team teaching, Ishler (1987) has explained that team teaching is the most appropriate mode of delivery of the liberal education courses (p. 15). Although some of the studies of classroom WTC looked into shifts in its intensity over different periods (cf. Cao, 2006, 2013; de Saint Léger & Storch, 2009; Weaver, 2007), most of the investigations offered insight into single lessons or tasks. The present study attempts to join the two perspectives providing accounts of WTC fluctuations in individual lessons as well as those spanning the period of a semester of study. The research will be conducted with regard to factors contributing to WTC ups and downs of learners in a team teaching classroom
