The study of social capital and its effect in relation to human resources performance in Educational Organization

Modern societies are generally presented as organizational society, so that the new world can be known as organizational world. It means that new world is different from the past one in social - cultural dimensions. The effective management of organizations in today's environment which is full of ambiguity and mutation needs changes in our viewpoints and approaches. The aim of this study is to achieve a comprehensive look at the relationship of two major components: social and behavioral - social capital and human resources performances - in all aspects of organizational development in educational environment. The main hypothesis of this study states that there is a significant relationship between social capital and the human resources performance in Najaf Abad Azad University. The population size and the sample used in this study were 400 and 78 people respectively. The theoretical model of this study based on three dimensions of social capital called: cognitive, social interaction and communication ones and two dimensions of human resources performance (HRP) named organizational skills and individual ones were analyzed. The results of this study illustrate that the correlation coefficient between social capital and human resources performance is 0.546 and Kendall's taub coefficient is 0.517 that is significant at 0.001 level. It was also observed that, whereas all the components along with human resources performance are simultaneously analyzed, only two components of identity, belonging sense and social participation directly lead to improvement and influence on human resources performance
