It is undoubtable Functional Neurological Disorders seems to be more prevalent than perivious.10-30% of neurologic outpatients are those with symptoms that cannot be clearly explained by a structural or pathophysiological lesion. On-epileptic attacks make up around 10–20% of the patients referred to specialist epilepsy clinics with intractable seizures and up to 50% of patients admitted to hospital in apparent status epilepticus. This kind of disorders as a Medically unexplained symptoms are common in people who use frequent health care services. Other than the diagnosis of this phenomenon and differentiation from epileptic seizure, treatment of this disorders are attracted by clinicians. In the classic definition of conversion disorder, psychological stress is recognized as an essential factor in the disorder. In the diagnosis of psychiatry, psychiatric disorders such as anxiety and prophylaxis are considered very important so therapists are trying to discover the related psychological factors in the occurrence of symptoms and to modify their role through the psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies in order to resolve the symptom On the other hand, I am going to talk about new approach to PNES. This model of care is a multidisciplinary team process, that patients with mild symptoms, symptoms that respond very positively to the initial explanation, or those with a good GP will probably not need (or accept) the complication of another referral. A patient who is unimproved after a receiving a careful explanation, a trial of antidepressants and psychotherapy should probably be referred.
