چکیده مقاله:
Petrochemical is a set of industrial complex units which consists of several operations and processes. Meanwhile, so many types of pollutants are produced such as CO, CO2, NOX, SOX and PM.SOx is an index pollutant which has a substantial role in environment and human health. There are a lot of hazards due to SOX exposure include: toxicology, irritation eyes and touch, and acid rains.Also photochemical smog is one more threaten hazards which is produced by mixing of SOX and PM and it is very dangerous. In addition, this pollutant is produced greatly in olphine unit due to its special process.By have a carful notice on all of mentioned points it seems essential to perform some actions to prepare safer place for vicinity people and staff to live by reduction of pollutant concentration. This purpose is reached by means of some kinds of modifications measures in our equipments and constructions. There are many parameters which can affect on SOx dispersion. Among all of these parameters physical parameters of stacks such as height and diameter are very important and should be noticed as well. In this project, we try to have a computer simulation of SOX emission by means of various mathematic models like Gaussian model and we try to investigate effects of changes in physical parameters of stack to control SOx dispersion pathway. Finally, we can predict the pathway and concentration of pollutant and so control and modify its movement and other characteristics.
