This paper deals with the stabilization for a class of nonlinear impulsive switched systems and proposes the stability criteria locally that is more relaxed than the global ones, especially when the region of validity is limited. To achieve the widest region of attraction along with the smallest ultimate bound, we also reformulate them as matrix inequalities and then introduce an optimization problem with linear/bilinear constraints. Although this problem can be solved by existing toolboxes, it remains a challenge. Hence, we propose a GA-based approach that solves it more efficiently. Unlike the available toolboxes that only consider linear/quadratic objective functions, we can here use any kind of nonlinear objective functions to more meaningfully express the concept of maximization and minimization for the region of attraction and the ultimate bound, respectively. Finally, a numerical example is presented to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach.
