چکیده مقاله:
In this paper the physical propertiesand thermodynamic characteristics of someliquid desiccants used in airdehumidification industry are investigated.The effectiveness of materials that are usedin the production of dry air, are differentbased on their chemical compounds.Lithium chloride is the most effective salt inair dehumidification and is mostly used inliquid desiccant air conditioning systems.Calcium chloride is an alternative salt, asolution of which can also be used as liquiddesiccant in the production of dry air. A 50-50% mixture of these two substances knownas cost effective liquid desiccant (CELD)has a good affinity in air dehumidificationand has a lower cost compared with lithiumchloride. Since the regeneration of the abovementioned salt solutions can be carried out.
