چکیده مقاله:

Developments in urbanization in recent decades has caused urban historical textures to face many problems, such as the lack of livability and safety conditions and physical, social and economic imbalances. Therefore, the emphasis on the principles and standards of livability in the Historical texture can play an important role in sustaining its values and increasing the participation of local communities. The purpose of this study was to identify and assess the livability of the historical and cultural axis of Bidabad city of Isfahan and provide suggestions for its organization. In terms of purpose, the research method is analytical-descriptive and in terms of the research framework, is applied in a survey method in the neighborhood of Bidabad. The data collection tool is observations, interviews and a questionnaire based on indicators of livability with some dimensions. In this study, one-sample t-test, Friedman test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test were used in SPSS statistical software to determine the livability measurement and indicators weighting. The results of this study showed that the historical and cultural axis of Bidabad is not favorable in terms of livability indicators. In other words, its livability is less than average. Therefore, most attention should be paid to the historical axis which is undesirable in this regard. In this regard, suitable strategies for improving the livability and organizing of the historical axis of Isfahan are suggested.
