Introducing and Studying Polymer Concrete

Regarding to scientific advancements in production new materials, especially in construction industry, old and common materials are being replaced by modern materials in terms of high energy consuming for production, absence of high efficiency, limited applications, etc. Portland cement is one of most consuming materials in construction industry; already it seems impossible removing it from this industry. However, many materials have been introduced for decreasing consumption of the cement. Polymers are materials which can be used to produce concrete as suitable substitution. Current research has tried to introduce the special features of polymer concrete such as ability to create thin layers, quick processing, easy applications and their usability in joinery.
