Study on Development Gap between Villages of Kashmar County

Inequality is one of the most important factors of underdevelopment. The first step to determine development level is to explain development gap and the second step is to study degree of development gap. It has been considered degree of development and development gap between villages of Kashmar County in this paper. Methodology is descriptive. Measurement Tool, Ranking Technique are based on order preference by similarity to an Ideal Solution. The Software Excel and Gis are used in analytical phase. By using General Population and Housing Census Iran 2011 and 59 indexes of 9 dimensions, level of development of 5 villages of Kashmar has been studied and these villages have been classified in developed, developing and underdeveloped levels. It is concluded has studied on development gap between villages of Kashmar. It has been studied on development levels variation 0.93 and the least development gap from economy dimension is in coefficient of variation 0.09 and the least development gap from economy dimension is in coefficient of variation 0.09. Also, 60% of villages such as Brood, Barkooh and Takab are in underdeveloped group and 40% of villages such as Balavelayat and Payeenvelayat are in developing group. It indicates inequality to enjoy development possibilities.
