Health Society at the Service of Peace; Prerequisites and Preconditions

Peace is a long-standing wish of mankind and So far, many effortshave been made by individuals, groups and institutions to achieveit, however, violence and war are still the most important issuesand challenges of human society. One of the issues that isunanimous and emphasized by most peace activists is peaceeducation. Another issue that peace activists are unanimous aboutis that peace education should be conducted in different parts ofthe community. This paper addresses the role of healthpractitioners and physicians in promoting peace education. In thispaper, which has been done through reflective analysis, a reviewof the status of the medical and health society in terms of mentalfitness and in terms of the knowledge necessary to enter thesubject of peace education, Evidence has been provided that ourmedical society does not have the necessary readiness in thisregard. Then, in order to move on to the capacity and position ofthe medical society and the health community, in the peaceeducation process, While refining and describing therequirements of medical profession as well as issues that need tobe addressed in peace education, there are some points ofknowledge and skills necessary to do this.
