Report of some Collembola species for Golestan province (Iran)

Collembola (Arthropoda: Hexapoda) are more diverse soil animals which has different role in soil including nutrient cycling. Aaditinally, species diversity of Collembola and even existence of some species are representive of healthy of soil. But many species including sensitive species to soil pullution are unknow in Iran. While before pratical use of any species, the first step is recognization of them, in this reason, Collembola diversity were subjected to study in this research. In present study, during the Collembola diversity investigation, four species of Collembola from Entomobyridae family were collected and ideitifeid from Kordkoy and Gorgan regions. These species were introduced from Golestan province. The species were extracted from soil and leaf litter by Berlese funnels. These species are recorded for the first time for Golestan province (Iran). The collected information and description are given in the paper.
