Introduction & Objectives: Breast cancer is a kind of cancer that begins with breast tissue. Like all types of cancer, breast cancer begins with a cell. Cells are the smallest existing building blocks that can be active in the body independently. Healthy cells grow within the limits of certain rules, and their growth stops after reaching cellular evolution, but cancer cells grow much faster and continue to grow to a degree that can destroy healthy cells. Unlike healthy cells, cancer cells can not break their growth. This abnormal growth and proliferation result from changes or mutations in the genetic material inside them. Although men are also affected by this cancer, it is likely that it will be 100 times as high in women. The aim of this study was to determine the mortality rate of breast cancer in East Azarbaijan province between 2014 and 2017.Methods: This review article is based on mortality data recorded in the mortality reporting software for breast cancer. Information gathering tools, including recorded death certificates, Verbal autopsy, Forensic burial permission, is a form of health care homes that is recorded in mortality record software at Province level.Results: The rate of death from breast cancer between 2014 and 1395 has increased by 3.8, 4.4 and 4.9, respectively. The death rate from cancer in the urban population is( 7.79) higher than the rural population (2.71). The death rate in the middle age group was( 10.51) more than that of the elderly (30.92), death rate in the youth age group 71.1 and in the age group of adolescents there was no death from breast cancer.Conclusion Since women are the main focus of family health and, given the widespread role of women in the socio-economic cycle of the country and the healthy human goal of sustainable development, the need for early diagnosis and prevention of breast cancer with its high prevalence in Across the globe, it is important as one of the best approaches to controlling this disease.
