Methods for Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer

Introduction: Breast cancer is the uncontrollable growth of abnormal cells created in different areas in the breast. It is important to investigate the causes of breast cancer, since they will help both in treatment and in prevention once they are found, which will result in identification of endangered women and prevention and screening strategies for early detection of the disease. Methods: The method for collecting and summarizing the information has been analyzed using scientific-research papers and books available in the area as well as the information obtained at the pathology department of Tehran Mahdiyeh Hospital.Findings: The researchers have presented more evidence on the relationship between some chemicals used at home and breast cancer. Despite the lack of definite evidence for proving the role of certain chemicals in increase in the risk of breast cancer, there are also many reasons for increasing concern in this regard, Attempts have been made in this writing to investigate the prevalence and epidemiology of breast cancer, its risk factors, and different levels of prevention from it.Discussion and conclusion: Training women and promoting their awareness and advising them to undergo different methods of breast cancer screening at the initial stages in light of the available guidance play an important role as preventive measures. Mastectomy for prevention is a method for reduction of the risk of the disease in women with records of breast cancer in their families.
