چکیده مقاله:

This paper sets out the principles of designing educational spaces for children in the light of environmental psychology. The field of environmental psychology has emphasized how the physical environment affects feelings and behaviors. Considerable evidence shows that there is an explicit relationship between the physical characteristics of school buildings, and the spaces within them, and educational outcomes.the whole study is based on a fundamental belief that school planning and design can play an important role in enhancing teaching and learning outcomes by creating better built environment. To achieve optimal design solutions is a very complex and challenging goal. This paper seeks to frame the multitude of opportunities within major design principles from the basics of how people experience spaces in response to the environmental data they gain through their senses and synthesise in their brains. This leads to a focus on naturalness, individualisation and level of stimulation
