Inspecting the concept of the quality of the visual character, Dimensions and its physical criteria for buildings Case Study: Shahid Beheshti University campus

Some criteria like building form, ceiling features, openings, relation with context, materials, the quality of construction, specific spaces, composition of related spaces and elements based in space will make the building more intelligible. We call a building visual character qualified when the audiences percept its existence from its outward. The physical dimension has been considered in this qualitative method article and other dimensions can be surveyed in future researches. We examined this quality in Shahid Beheshti University Campus and the findings showed most of cases are visual character qualified.
