چکیده مقاله:

A polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane containing acrylate groups (AC-POSS) was synthesized through Steglich esterification reaction of acrylic acid and an OH containing POSS. FTIR and 1HNMR were used to characterize the synthesized compound and its thermal property was investigated by DSC. Nanocomposites were prepared by introducing AC-POSS and original POSS into a urethane acrylate resin. The effect of contents and types of functionality of POSS were studied on compatibility in liquid state and transparency of the resultant coatings through turbidity analysis and UV-visible spectroscopy. The results revealed that synthesized AC-POSS had a better interaction with urethane acrylate both in the liquid state and final coating.
