چکیده مقاله:

Hawthorns are herbs in the Rosacea family with a long history of their use in the food consumption. Due to the presence of stable red pigments, hawthorn is also used in dyeing natural fibers. There are a lot of Hawthorn farms throughout Iran .These hawthorns have significant properties such as antioxidant and Anti Diabetic. Hawthorn widely used to promote the health of the circulatory system and in the treatment of angina. Antimicrobial properties of Hawthorn fruit extract were tasted on a variety of gram positive and gram- negative bacteria. According to results of the present study, the effect of antibacterial properties is stronger on gram – positive bacterial than gram – negative bacterial. The use of its fruit with the beneficial properties for health and hygiene is recommended for the production of dyes. It has high stability in fiber dyeing. The colors range of this fruit is changeable from red to orange. In this research, hawthorn is recommended for using in fiber dyeing and food preservative.
