چکیده مقاله:
Approximate methods have limited applications to hydrologic-flood routing problems. Unsteady sediment laden-flow, flooding prediction in natural streams are too complicated to be solved with approximated methods. Complete methods of solution is preferred for analyzing total aspects of varied flow within real rivers situations. Effects of flooding on river regime and flow-sediment characteristics variation for certain period of time different locations along the Missouri river were studied by different methods. Merits of complete of complete and disadvantages of approximated solution techniques applied for real river flooding / transporting graded sediments were studied. A new approach for sediment movement adopted to establish the interaction between the highly non-linear unsteady varying sediment laden-flow transporting different sediment particles. The resulting mathematical formulation is highly non-linear were solved numerically. The important of real river data, sediment –laden flow variations, non-linear terms in governing equations and simplifications of these terms, and difference between solutions when they were solved in approximated linear or in more complete non-linear forms investigated. Ignoring certain terms, the sediment transport terms were explicitly solved from hydraulics equations. New approach used for the grain. Sorting / armouring included within hydraulics - sediment transport phases for real rivers.
