چکیده مقاله:
Background:the increasing emergence of antimicrobial resistance among gram negative bacteria especially Enterobacteriaceae has become a global problem. The aim of this study was Frequency and of Antibiotic resistance pattern ofEnterobacteriaceae strain isolated from Burn ward of Zaareh sari hospital.Materials & Methods: This is a descriptive sectional investigation which was conducted from January2016 to January 2017 in Zaareh Hospital in sari City and the cultured samples of patients131fromdifferent parts of the hospital including urine, blood ,wound, phlegm, ulcer, discharge, etc. sent to the laboratory were investigated. In order to determine antibiogram disk agar diffusion (DAD) methodwas used, positive cultures were extracted and their results regarding the type of bacteria and antibiogram results were recorded in the experiment paper. The gathered data were analyzed usingSPSS-20 software. Results:From the total 3248 isolates analyzed in this study, 380 were found by phenotypic tests as Enterobacteriaceae. Citrobacter frundi (12.8),Escherichia coli(11.0%), proteus.(6.9%), were the predominant pathogens. Results of antibiotic sensitivity test indicated high resistance to Cephalexin (82.63%) and Co-trimoxazole(75.78%), and low resistance to Amikacin (46.31%) and Tobramycin (62.63%).Conclusion: Results showed that resistance to antibiotics is increasing in the studiedpopulation. Therefore proper and rapid diagnosis of pathogenic agents and treatment of patients according to antibiogram pattern can reduce mortality rate, period of hospitalizationand treatment costs.
