THE EFFECT OF ENVIRONMENTAL USE OF COPPER SLAG AND POZZOLANIN CONCRETE

Today large number of researches are carried out on concrete properties due to its wide use as an important construction material. Most part of concrete is cement whose cost decrease leads to producing of economical concrete. Using the industrial sweepings such as copper blast furnace slag which have pozzolan properties can make the cement economical. Using these materials as the primary substance of cement has two important aspects. Firstly the production costs of cement will be reduced and it will also make energy, time and costs be economized. Secondly since the large amount of wastes makes the environment polluted and increases the costs of destruction and depot, natural environment will be protected by using of this materials .In this research the environmental effects will be studied .The results show the necessity of using thesematerials.
