چکیده مقاله:

Plants have been an important source of medicine for thousands of years. Medicinal plant are the most important source of life saving drugs for the majority of the world`s population. The biotechnological tools are important to select, multiply and conserve the critical genotypes of medicinal plants. In the present study, we worked on the species P. auriculata, a native plant known in western of Iran. The aim of this study was preservation and propagation of medicinal and rare plant Primula auriculata. Primula auriculata from primulaceae family is one of the most important local medicinal plants in Hamedan. This plant was collected from Hamadan province. In the labratory, plant shoots were separated and the suckers planted in a special system named mini-hothouse. After one monthe mini-hothouse were transfered to the greenhouse. In this system a number of plants were obtained and they were bloomed three times a year.
