Economic Feasibility Study of a Wind Farm Considering Power Delivery Sustainability

This paper investigates the economic feasibility of a grid connected wind farm for Zabol, a city located in the southeastern part of Iran. The wind farm concept has beensighted from the business point of view where individuals compete to produce electricity energy as cheap and clean aspossible and consequently get more benefits. A sensitivity studyhas been done to model inflation rate uncertainties and the wind farm capacity options. Finally, a stability analysis hasbeen conducted in Simulink (MATLAB) to verify the power delivery sustainability of wind farm during a fault and the results have been discussed
