Medical Image Watermarking for Tamper Localization and Recovery of Region of Interest

This paper presents a medical image watermarking for tamper localization and recovery of Region of Interest (ROI) for ultrasound images. In the proposed scheme, the ultrasoundimage is divided into ROI and RONI (Region Of Non-Interest) areas. The recovery information and LSBs (Least SignificantBit) of ROI will be embedded into the first, second and third LSBs of RONI. Simulation results show that the proposed method exhibits high PSNR and excellent tamper localization and recovery properties and reversibility
