A Novel Method for Steady State Analysis of the Three-Phase Self Excited Induction Generators Taking Core Loss into Account

A new method to evaluate the steady stateperformance of a three-phase self excited induction generatorbased on conductance minimization is proposed. It can besimply used to take core loss effect into account. Among thepriorities of this method are the absence of convergenceproblem and flexibility. Simple methods to find the frequencyand magnetizing reactance have been proposed. Simulationresults show the effectiveness of this method.
