چکیده مقاله:
With the growth of intelligent applications and the Internet of Things(IOT) increased the volume of data exchange inthe network. The centralized and traditional Mobile Cloud Computing(MCC) architecture, due to the delay and massivedemands, is not responsive to the high demand of users and the proper implementation of sensitive and real timeapplications. The evolving Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)enables mobile users to offload their computing tasksto edge servers. In this paper, we use MEC architecture to solve some of the MCC problems. Storage, processing, andsecure communications are done in separate and independent nodes of the edge in this layer. Each of these nodes isvirtualized on a single server. We presented an augmented reality marker-based tracking application with 3D dynamicobjects in the android smartphone system and evaluated its functionality in cloud-based architecture and MEC proposedarchitecture on both Wi-Fi and 4G mobile networks. The results of evaluation show the optimal performance of theMEC architecture in both communication networks. The implementation of high-volume 3D models using Wi-Fi in theMEC architecture is fast and fulfills the expectation of a prompt application.
