چکیده مقاله:

Educational systems around the world are under increasing requirements to use the new Information and Communication Technologies to educate students the knowledge and skills that they need in the 21st century. We live in a world that increasingly depends on digital communication devices. We use them for playing, for working, and increasingly we use them to support our learning. Nowadays, societies are looking beyond the mechanization of traditional training models to new approaches to become able to transfer knowledge that are associated with certain goals and measurable results. In this paper, we consider the potential impact of blended learning on education, meaning in the teaching and learning process and how the quality of education could be achieved by integrating it into the teaching and learning process in learning environments. We will discuss the quality of education and how it can be improved through blended learning approach based on "Sloan Consortium’s five pillars".
