چکیده مقاله:

The use of fly ash as partial replacement of cement in concrete has beencommon practice for decades. Chemically, fly ash has pozzolanicactivity is attributed to the presence of SiO2 and Al2O3.reports the results of an experconcrete and high volume fly ash (HVFA) concrete containing nanosilica (NS). In this study, concretes containing 2 andprepared at a constant water/binder ratio28 days. The compressivesorptivity investigated experimentally. Results show that besidesimprovement in compressive strength, the addition ofsignificantly reduced the water sorptivityrevealed that the above durability% class F fly ash and 2 % NS as partial replacement of cement aresuperior than ordinary concrete containing 100 %
