Examining of core competencies in the iranian public administration (the case of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance)

چکیده مقاله:

the aims of this study is first of all, whether the degree of importance attached to a series of core competencies by lower ranking civil servants and civil servants in management positions at Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance has statistically significant differences. Secondly, it aims to find out whether the degree of competency self-assessed by the managers analysed is the same as that of a reference population of managers. in the present study we had A sample of 645 civil servants took part – representing 45.9 % of the total population working in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance (N = 1405) – 495 of whom correspond to lower-ranking officials and 150 to managers. In addition to grading and analysis of core competencies in the Department of Culture of the model Zarei Matin et al (2015) have been used. The Findings show that all competencies in the model are of particular importance but Self-confidence, Professional satisfaction Achievement, and diligence have most relevant competencies for both groups (managers and employrs). also A significant correlation was not found between the level of self-managers with the reference population.
