چکیده مقاله:

A new equation of state based on theoretically derived attractive term presented. Perturbation theory is applied to hard sphere and square-well molecules. From a sound theoretical bases an attractive term is derived based on molecular thermodynamics. In this equation, a function for α , the parameter in the attractive term is obtained. The method is based on equality of internal energy dependence of a truncated virial series and a cubic EOS. In this approach attractive and repulsive term parameters are related to the molecular potential parameters. The new attractive term was then coupled with the hard sphere contribution to complete the EOS for high pressure gas reservoir. Equation attractive parameterα is determined. Satisfactory results from this EOS for predicting the phase behavior of gas reservoir at high pressure is obtained.
