چکیده مقاله:

Carbon nanotubes are the ideal building block for future technology. For good performance, the uniformity in the carbon nanotubes property is very important. Among many separation methods, dielectrophoresis separation is non-destructive and often employed to separate Carbon nanotubesaccording to electrical property. Dielectrophoresis refers to the motion of polarisable particlessuspended in flow, induced by a spatially non-uniform electric field and the Control andevaluation of the dielectrophoretic separation process is the most important challenge. In this work, a new relation between the electrical power and the mechanical power in the dielectrophoresis systems has been driven to predict the characters of deposited carbon nanotubes. The relation has been evaluated with the experimental data and estimated the number of deposited carbon nanotubes onto electrode gap. Comparison of calculated results and experimental observations are shown good agreement and contributed to assess the geometrical parameters of the deposited carbon nanotubes based on bias voltage, frequency and net resistance.
