In this paper, the effects of Reynolds number, external wall heat flux and longitudinal rib height on forced fluid convection in a rectangular curved microchannel are investigated numerically. Optimal analysis is also done with respect to least total entropy generation rate criteria. The fluid flow is assumed as laminar and steady state. It is found that increasing of external wall heat flux increases the optimum rib height for constant Reynolds number whilst for a constant heat flux as Reynolds number, increases the height of optimum rib with least total entropy generation rate decreases
