In each process, determination of acceptable operational ranges and optimizing them to prevent flaws and redundant corrective processes is of the utmost importance. In this study, we take bending conditions on oil pipes into consideration to enhance bending quality in terms of wrinkling and tearing occurrences. Parameters optimized in Finite Element Method analysis are bending angle and radius. Sorting combinations of them on the basis of the resultant stress contour would be a perfect reference to become aware of prior process conditions as well. The reason why such an analysis has been done is a plan to decrease periodical inspections in mentioned regions of oil pipes and finally alleged by results the bending angles over 450 have less impact on stress values.
