چکیده مقاله:

Equal channel angular rolling process is one of the severe plastic deformation processes which is based on ECAP process, in which, severe shear force, causes deformation of sheets. In this paper the effects of 4 pass of ECAR process on the strength and hardness of CP-Ti Titanium sheet wereinvestigated. As well as, samples were annealed before ECAR process. Hardness test results were studied using the Vickers benchmark and it was found that after annealing the hardness decreased but with executing the first pass it significantly increased and with doing the second pass,again it slightly increased and after the third pass the hardness rate decreased about 10% but finally, the sample hardness increased significantly, and in compared with the unECARed sample the hardness rate increased with the rate of 131%. With executing the tensile test it was found that,after 1 pass tensile and yield strength of the samples were increased significantly and at the final pass the total rate ofyield strength increasing was 172%. The grain size also decreased with increasing the number of passes.
