This study aims to identify educational factors affecting teaching entrepreneurship in higher education of Iran. Research method in terms of data collection was descriptive-survey and in terms of purpose, it was application. The target population includes two parts: qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative part includes experts and its sampling method is targeted snowball sampling. Quantitative part includes all administrators and faculty members of public universities of Tehran and its sampling method is the non-random purposive sampling. Data collection tools are interview as well as a questionnaire made by authors. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed based on the survey as well as comments of experts. To assess reliability, Cronbach s alpha test was used, which resulted in α = 0.90. Structural equation modeling technique was used for data analysis. The findings suggest that educational factors have significant effect on the development plans of the entrepreneurship education. In addition, results show that early indicators of fitness in the verification of the entrepreneurship educational development planning model confirm the suitability of the model. This article in addition to presenting strategies for the improvement of the current situation provides also recommendations for managers, decision-makers as well as the trend of future researches.
