Investigating Tariff Mechanisms in Iran Railway and Providing Suitable Procedures and Model

After railway became common in the world in 1825, it developed rapidly. Since rail transportation has more competitive advantages as compared to other transportation methods due to its safety installations, railway transportation is highly important and the tariff received for the load by railway department must include all the costs. So far, several researches have been made in the field of tariff in rail transportation system. But in the present study, efforts have been made to investigate tariff mechanisms in Iran railroad and to provide suitable procedures for that.
