چکیده مقاله:
In this study, the annealing process of ball-milled copper powder at different times and temperatures has been investigated by XRD. For this reason, commercial purity 325-mesh copper powder was milled in a planetary ball mill for 2hr and then was annealed for 5-30min at a temperature range 400-500oC. The crystallite size, residual microstrain, and dislocation density have been calculated by the Scherrer, Williamson-Hall (W-H) and Popa techniques. The results indicate that, in general, with increasing time at each temperature, dislocation density decreases and the decreasing rate, increases with increasing temperature. Also, microstructural information obtained by the W-H and Popa techniques has the same order of magnitude, while the values obtained by the Scherrer technique exhibit significant differences than the other two methods. The reason of these differences has been explained by considering the methodology of each technique
