چکیده مقاله:

The recent research was conducted to study the relationship between resiliency, happiness, and mental health of female Dorm residents of Kharazmi University. A sample of 80 out of 360 female students, residing in dorms were chosen, and were assessed by Conner-Davidson Resiliency Scale (CD-RISC), Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ), and General Health Questionnaire (GHQ). Analyzing the results by Pearson correlation and stepwise regression indicated a relation between mental health, resiliency, and happiness. Happiness and resiliency could significantly predict mental health, but happiness had a greater role, by 44%. It could be assumed that by improving one’s happiness through education, change in environment or other means, improvement in mental health could be expected.
