چکیده مقاله:

Peptide based gene carriers are among the most promising non-viral vectors for gene delivery to eukaryotic cells. Suchvectors have been synthesized in genetically engineered approach, resulting in biomacromolecules with new propertiesthat are not present in nature. In this study, we have designed new peptides using homology modeling with the purposeof overcoming the cell barriers for successful gene delivery through Bioinformatics tools. Two different carriers afteranalyzing through Bioinformatics tools were cloned, expressed and their affinities for pDNA were monitored. The resultsdemonstrated that the vectors can effectively condense pDNA into nanoparticles with the average sizes between 100-200nm. We hope these peptides can overcome the biological barriers associated with gene transfer, and mediate efficientgene delivery.
