چکیده مقاله:

Electrospinning is a process by which polymer nanofibers (with diameter lower than 100 nm and lengths up tokilometers) can be produced using an electrostatically driven jet of polymer solution (or polymer melt). Electrospun nanofiberscoated by nanoparticles exhibit numerous attractive characteristics such as extremely small diameter and high porositywhich make them optimal candidates for many significant applications. In the present article, polyamide-6 nanofiberscoated by ZnO nanoparticles successfully prepared using electrospinning. ZnO nanoparticles were sonochemicallysynthesized using zinc acetate and ethylene glycol. The role of ultrasonic irradiation time and intensity in synthesis ofZnO nanoparticles were discussed. The effect of electrospinning parameters such as solution concentration, voltage andneedle tip to collector distance on the morphology and the average size of the electrospun fibers were also studied. Theresults showed that the spinnable concentrations of polyamide-6 solution are 14 and 17 wt.%. The diameters of theelectrospun fibers were increased with increasing the solution concentration and decreased slightly with increasing thevoltage and needle tip to collector distance.
