چکیده مقاله:

Two CuO/ZnO/Al2O3 nanocatalysts are synthesized via urea-nitrate combustion and hybrid sonochemical-combustionmethod to produce fuel cell grade hydrogen via steam reforming of methanol. Samples were analysed by differentcharacterization techniques. XRD confirmed the formation of CuO and ZnO crystallites. It also showed that the samplewhich is treated with ultrasound has smaller crystallite size. FESEM images showed the nanometric scale of particles.EDX illustrated well dispersion of all elements on catalyst surface. Finally catalytic performance tests for SRM reactionshowed that sonochemically synthesized sample is more active. It was also stable for 1200 min.
