چکیده مقاله:

In this study, asymmetrical poly (Ɛ- caprolactone) (PCL) membranes with different pore size ineach side, were fabricated by the phase inversion method. Poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) was used as a poreformeradditive adjusting pore sizes in the membranes structures. the effect of PEG molecular weight on theresulting membranes surface and cross-sectional morphology, structure and tensile mechanical propertieswas investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), attenuated total reflectance Fouriertransformation infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR) analysis and tensile mechanical testing. The asymmetricalPCL membrane with nano pores in one side and micro pores in other side was fabricated by phase inversion. It also was founded, the tensile strength, elongation of the resulted membranes and pore sizes and porosity oftheir both surfaces increased with increasing molecular weight of PEG.
