Organizational Entrepreneurship in Tourism Industry

Today entrepreneurship is one of the main concern of many organization's managers. The use of innovative ideas of entrepreneur staff can bring about great changes in organizations, furthermore it will improve the economic development. Tourism is one of the economic sectors that requires a high degree of participation in entrepreneurial activities. In order to satisfy the increasing demand and different needs of tourism we will need a variety of production andservices. So achieving this goal is only possible through innovation of related organizations and by use of creative thinking of employees and managers in this organizations. The aim of thisstudy was to determine if there is entrepreneurship in tourism organizations of the province of Tehran. The statistical population of the study was all of this organization's employees and managers. The sample consisted of 123 individuals which is obtained by use of Simple RandomSampling method and Cochran formula. Data was collected by means of StandardizedQuestionnaire, and Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient was used to assess it's reliability; furthermore in this study library and field method was used for collecting data. The aim of this study was based on a practical research, and also the quality of data finding is on the type of Descriptive- Analytical research. Statistical indicators such as frequency, charts and diagrams was used in descriptive statistics, and Klomogrov-Smirnov Test and one sample T-test was used in inferential statistics for analysis of the questionnares. The results show that Tehran provinial tourism organizations are not organizations with entrepreneurial orientation.
