Identify and evaluate critical success factors in the information security management of Agricultural bank

This study aims to identify and evaluate critical success factors in the information security management of Agricultural Bank. The research method was exploratory mixed, using quantitative and qualitative tools. In the quantitative part, meta-synthesis method, and in the quantitative part, analytical methods were used. In the quantitative part, two self-made questionnaire, made by experts and IT specialists, was used. The time domain of research was from October 2013 to August 2014 and spatial domain was Agricultural Bank branches in Tehran and Alborz province. The study population included Agricultural Bank experts and university professors (non-bank) and IT experts of other banks and Agricultural Bank s specialists. The sample size was: n=24 experts and n=65 specialists. The results showed that among the 11 identified critical success factors, according to experts working in the Agricultural Bank, awareness factors were in first priority, senior management support was in second priority and employee motivation in third priority, and according to specialists, senior management support takes place in first priority, awareness in second priority and meet international standards of information security in third priority.
