Hamadan is one of the old historic cities that its name has remained. This ancient city dates back to over the years as a result of natural disasters, war and lack of maintenance, and Jackson turned to ruins due to the city s ancient writings interpreted and explained the situation and shape of buildings The main research issue is to answer the central question What are the variables influencing the survival or destruction of the ancient city of Hamadan The main hypothesis is that according to foreign and tourists, climatic conditions, geographical or geopolitical positions, and government systems of rulers in Iran, the outbreak of epidemics such as plague and cholera, foreign invasion and domestic uprisings were the most important variables influencing the survival or destruction of the ancient city of Hamadan This article is based on historical method has been done that has led to comparative study and describes and analyzes the data
