چکیده مقاله:

تخلیه آب زیرزمینی یا چشمههای آب شیرین زیردریایی به دلیل دشواری در ارزیابی و درک، برای سالهای متمادی به طور علمی مورد غفلت قرار گرفته بود ولی امروزه این برداشت تغییر کرده است. بدون استفاده از اندازهگیری میتوان پیشگویی کرد که جریانهایSGDحاشیه سواحل که از اراضی ساحلی به طرف دریا در جریانند در نواحی با نفوذپذیری زیاد (کارست)، ناهمواریهای مرتفع نزدیک ساحل،نواحی بدون سیستمهای رودخانهای خوب توسعه یافته (برخی از جزایر بزرگ) و مناطقی با میزان زیاد تغذیه آب زیرزمینی (حاره مرطوب) افزونتر خواهد بود. دو ویژگی سنگشناسی (مانند سازندهای کارستی آسماری، جهرم، سروک، و ...) و تکتونیک با پشتوانه بارندگی فراوان به صورت برف و باران در بلندیهای زاگرس، احتمالا زمینه مناسبی برای توسعه پدیده کارستی شدن و انبارش و متعاقب آن حرکت آبزیرزمینی کارستی را به طرف نواحی ساحلی خلیج فارس فراهم آوردهاند؛ به طوری که احتمالا این منابع آب شیرین در بخش زیادی از نوار ساحلی خلیج فارس و دریای عمان، تقریبا بدون استفاده مانده و به درون دریا تخلیه میشوند
