HYBRID CABLE STFK TYPE I

This paper analyzes a new type of hybrid cable (STFK: Signal-Telecommunication-Fiber optics cable). It’s cable core consists of copper pairs combined with HDPE micro ducts intended for insertion of micro fiber-optic cables during cable installation (on site). The STFK hybrid cable is produced and tested in a cable factory in the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. The cable has protection from the effects of electromagnetic radiation caused by railway power lines and long distance power lines. STFK hybrid cables are intended for use in railways, gas and oil pipeline systems.
