ly Slant Polarized Antenna in 1700-2700MHz Frequency Range for LTE Communication

A dual-polarized dipole element with a parasitical patch is presented for base station antennas.A pair of orthogonal dipoles with a reflector ground is used to obtain two linear polarizations.Besides two coaxial feed lines and two shorted feed baluns, the parasitical patch is introduced to improve the impedence bandwidth.a wideband impedance characteristic of about 44.89% is obtained for VSWR<1/5 (+45 polarization) and VSWR<1/5 (-45 polarization) ranging from 1710 to 2700 MHz.moreover,high isolation between two orthogonal polarizations and low cross-polarization over the whole operating band are achieved.the proposed antenna is very suitable for potential base station applications in mobile communication such as TD-SCDMA,WCDMA,and CDMA2000 and LTE applications.
